Lucrécio Costa was graduated in 1989 in Mechanical Engineering by the University Agostinho Neto (Angola). In 2000 he acquired his Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering, in the area of Tribology Science, at the University of Minho. Since 2010, he is National Director of Water Supply and Sanitation of Angola. Between 2007 and 2009 he was Chairman and Managing Director - CEO of the Mining Rocks Semi-Precious, MINESPRE SA (Angola). Between 2002 and 2006 he was an External Researcher at the Laboratory of Machine Elements and Tribology of the Mechanical Engineering Department, University of Minho, Portugal. Between 2002 and 2005 he was President and CEO of EPAL-EP, the state-owned water utility serving Luanda.
